Guest Blog - Killeavy Castle - Gullion Restaurant Relaunch 2024

It has been said that nature is the purest portal to inner peace…

Nestled within the ancient heartlands of County Armagh, Killeavy Castle Estate beckons travellers to embark on a journey through nature, myth and heritage. Here, amidst the lush woodlands on the slopes of Slieve Gullion, where heroes of Irish mythology once walked, the estate stands as a testament to centuries of history and the enduring spirit of the land.

    Food for thought!!

Located in the southeast corner of Northern Ireland is the Mourne, Gullion, Strangford geopark.  The area is culturally rich and champions sustainable and local tourism experiences.

Mourne, Gullion and Strangford are areas where the landscape is rich and fertile allowing food to be grown and produced locally.  The coastal waters surrounding the region is home to the richest fishing waters in Ireland.  Our rivers and lakes are also home to some of the best freshwater catches.
