And just like that, 2025 flew by. Another year packed with big adventures, muddy boots, busy days, and brilliant people choosing to spend their time with us.  The year kicked off in classic style with John and Martin tackling the infamous Spine Race, while back at base we stayed open year-round, welcoming everyone from corporate groups to first aid trainees. Spring brought journalists on e-bikes along St Patrick’s Way, bushcraft, youth ranger sessions, archery, axe throwing, and plenty of time on the road with our ever-travelling climbing wall.

By May, cruise ship season arrived, with guests exploring Castlewellan Forest Park by e-bike and sampling local treats. Summer followed at full speed—TV crews, school adventure days, charity hikes up Slieve Donard, and then high season chaos: bike, kayak, SUP and e-bike rentals, raft building, Electric Picnics, and SUP & Sip sessions keeping us hopping.

August rolled on with sunshine, bouldering, abseiling, hen parties, and a freelance team of over 20 helping keep everything moving. September shifted gears with journalists, influencers, and FAM trips showing off the Mourne Gullion Strangford Geosites.

October meant Bog Run season—mud, mayhem, and fundraising for a children’s cancer charity—followed by a steady stream of corporate events. November slowed just enough for conferences, winter planning, and Marcin’s annual bike-selling marathon. December wrapped things up with fireside chats, tea-fuelled planning, a festive litter pick, staff night out, and the fiercely competitive Life Adventure Trail Quest.

As we look ahead to 2026, one thing is clear: none of this happens without you. Thanks for being part of the journey—here’s to another year of adventure ahead.
