About

Castlewellan Show runs Saturday 18 July 2026, from 9am-5pm.

Join us on Saturday, 18th July 2026, for the Castlewellan Agricultural Show, a vibrant celebration of farming, food, and countryside life set in the picturesque Castlewellan Forest Park. From 9:00am to 5:00pm, the show promises a full day of entertainment, activities, and experiences for the whole family.

Visitors can enjoy a spectacular showcase of livestock, with thousands of animals competing across a wide range of classes, including beef and dairy cattle, sheep, horses and ponies, donkeys, pigs, poultry, rabbits, and cavies. Exciting competitions and displays, such as show jumping, pony games, dog agility, and the family pet show, ensure there is never a dull moment.

Children will love the variety of entertainment on offer, including bouncy castles, face painting, and interactive activities. Meanwhile, adults can explore trade stands, a craft marquee, an Eco Village, and the Home Industries marquee, offering everything from handmade crafts to sustainable living ideas.

Food enthusiasts can indulge in the Food Tent, featuring delicious local produce and live cookery demonstrations throughout the day. We will also have live music performances from Country Harmony, Box Car Brian, and Jordon McPolin, as well as the Jiving Competition with the incredible JivinGym.

The Castlewellan Agricultural Show is a wonderful family-friendly event, with free admission for primary school-aged children and complimentary car parking.
