The Cardinal 0'Fiaich Heritage Centre will be open for EHOD weekend to explore the rich heritage, archaeology and culture of South Armagh. Walk through history and explore the ancient landscape of O'Fiaich country and discover the legacy of the life and work of Cardinal Thomas O'Fiaich through personal artefacts and exhibition.
On Sunday 13th, join us from 16:00 for South Armagh Heritage – Story, Music, Poetry & Song, where ancient landscapes meet living traditions in a celebration of local culture and identity.
Reflecting this year’s theme, Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine, the centre highlights the importance of preserving not only historic places but also stories, language, and traditions that might otherwise be lost. Through projects supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Rural Heritage of South Armagh initiative is helping to protect physical heritage and revive cultural storytelling for future generations.
