About

Set in a secluded rural setting in Leitrim,Co Down, Pine Tree Hollow Glamping owned by Bridie Smyth, offers a unique yet authentic glamping experience that guests return to year after year. “Glamping” to many people become 5 star luxury hotel style accommodation but here at Pine Tree Hollow Glamping, we pride ourselves on retaining what the original concept of glamping is all about…….true “glamorous camping” isn’t for everyone but if  you want an authentic experience that won’t break the bank with camp fires, marshmallows, sleeping bags and star gazing aswell as a little bit of warmth and comfort then we might be just what you’re looking for.

Our small but spacious, fully enclosed site sleeps up to 17 in total and is popular with families and groups. We have 3 individually themed cabins The Yurt, The Wagon or The Beehive, all with differing but unique styles, inside and out, each containing wood burning stoves, double beds and bunk beds, full size fridge, kettle and toaster and own outdoor kitchen, bbq, fire pit and picnic area. Communal bathrooms, a children’s play area and our animal paddocks are located beside the cabins and The Shack provides a large covered communal space with an indoor fire pit/ bbq, games and cooking and dining facilities. Dog Friendly.

Pine Tree Hollow Glamping is the perfect base for exploring the stunning Mourne/Slieve Croob area of the Mourne Gullion Strangford Geopark and livelier towns of Newcastle and Castlewellan and is just a 5 min drive from the ever popular Castlewellan Forest Park.

While this property doesn’t currently fall within the scope of the Tourism (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 for approval, this is not a reflection on its excellent standards.
