The Mourne Wall Challenge 2026

Over 18's event.

This is a physical endurance challenge, not suitable for beginners.

Approximate duration of full distance - 13Hrs-15Hrs
Approximate duration of half distance - 6Hrs-7Hrs

Participants should have experience in long-distance mountain hiking or trail running and be prepared for steep climbs, exposed ridges, and rugged terrain.

Group discount available on groups of 8 or more.

Full Distance
£55 Registration Fee / £500 Fundraising Target
A 33km route traversing the full anti-clockwise route of the Mourne Wall, summiting all key mountains. This tough but rewarding trek spans across 14 mountain summits.
Chipped timed including split times and finish times
All participants will receive a medal to mark their incredible achievement
Registration 4:30am / Event Start 5am
Cut-off time at halfway point - 12pm

Half Distance
£45 Registration Fee / £250 Fundraising Target
A 16.5km route traversing the iconic Mourne Wall line, covering key mountains including Slieve Binnian, Long Seefin, Rocky Mountain, Chimney Mountain, and Slieve Donard before descending into Newcastle.
Chipped timed including split times and finish times
All participants will receive a medal to mark their incredible achievement
Registration 10:30am / Event Start 12pm
