About
Lonesome George's song-writing (in both English and Irish language) deals with love, life and revolution; addressing mental health, the treatment of refugees and the environmental crisis. These ideas are brought to life through multi-layered riff-led grooves; 4 & 5 part harmonies, ethereal & ambient pieces; rip-roaring reels and other dance rhythms; and a selection of flavours from various genres interwoven to create a unique sound; changing from song to song, all while remaining rooted in the Irish tradition.
LG is Joe Campbell-McArdle (guitar, vocals), Myles McCormack (mandolin, vocals), Catriona Ní Ghribín (accordion, vocals), Fintan Mulholland (flute, whistles, vocals), Dermot Moynagh (bodhrán, percussion)
