About

St Patrick's Day Parades will be the centre of celebrations in Newry City and Downpatrick on St Patrick’s Day 2026.

Led by Saint Patrick himself, the St Patrick's Day Parade in Newry City on Tuesday 17 March 2026 will offer a feast for eyes and ears as swirling dancers, community floats and costumed characters entertain the crowds.

St Patrick's Festivities will be happening in Newry City from 12noon to 4pm on St Patrick's Day.

What time does the St Patrick's Parade start in Newry City?

In Newry City, the St Patrick's Day Parade departs from Albert Basin at 1pm and will proceed along Merchants Quay, Sugar Island, ending at The Mall.
