Sound Relaxation Experience For Teens (Ages 13+)

Down Arts Centre, 2 - 6 Irish Street, Downpatrick, County Down, BT30 6BP
Sound Relaxation Experience

About

This Sound Relaxation Experience offers a space to take a break from the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in a calming soundscape designed to help you relax and unwind. The session takes place in the setting of the Down Arts Centre auditorium.
What to Expect
Come and find your calm. You'll lie down or sit comfortably in the auditorium and listen to relaxing sounds—Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, gentle drums, and soft percussion. The soothing vibrations help both your mind and body relax. You're welcome to arrive a little early to settle in before the session begins.
Who is it for?
This session is perfect for teens who want to take a break from screens, manage everyday stress, or explore new ways to relax. The session is gently guided in a welcoming, sensory-friendly space, and is designed to be accessible and low-pressure for all participants.
How to Prepare
You can choose to lie down or remain seated—whatever feels most comfortable for you. Mats will be provided, but you're encouraged to bring a blanket and cushion for extra cosiness.
