Join Belfast Activity centre for a 2 night residential summer scheme for teens in Newcastle, county Down.

Let kids be kids! And Teens be Teens! Our 2-night Residential Summer Camp offers a short, immersive outdoor adventure for kids, perfect for building confidence and independence with a wide range of activities, focusing on skills, friendships. It's a chance to get back to nature and to temporarily unplug from technology, for an unforgettable experience.

Duration: 2 nights (Monday morning to Wednesday afternoon).

Age: 12 to 14 years old – however we can cater for younger groups if there is demand.

Depending on the group profile and weather conditions, activities may include:

ON-SITE Activity options: Archery Tree climbing Bushcraft including leave no trace, shelter building, marshmallow toasting, Variety of team building games (focused on communication, working together, understanding feelings) Orienteering, Nightline.

OFF-SITE Activity options: Canoeing at Castlewellan, Wet Bouldering at Bloody Bridge ,Pier jumping, Rock Climbing & Abseiling at Castlewellan Quarry, Beach walk & adventure activities at Murlough Bay Tollymore Adventure Walk Mourne walks.

Focus: Confidence building, making friends, independence, fun, and outdoor skills.
