About

Mourne Calling - An Exhibition of paintings by Liz Laird, and creative works by the Newcastle Writing Group. 

Liz Laird lives near Tollymore Forest, her paintings and poetry reflect her emotional connection to the Mournes, and the lived experiences of women.

Harry Mitchell retired to Newcastle in 2017, his works include poetry, short stories and a comedy series written for radio.  Environmental awareness comes through passionately in a lot of Harry's poetry.
   
Lee Harding is a writer of dark thrillers and psychological horrors.  Living within the shadows of the Mournes, he has penned eight full-length novels and is an award-winning author. Visit www.leeharding.online to read his twisted tales.

Pol Jon Davids is a self-taught writer of poetry and short stories, his inspiration comes from his life experiences and his former English Literature.
