About

The Boathouse is a charming waterside retreat set in the village of Strangford, overlooking the tranquil waters of Strangford Lough. Dating back to 1852 and lovingly restored in 2019, the property offers peaceful accommodation for up to two guests, combining historic character with modern comfort.

Inside, the Boathouse features a well-equipped kitchen, shower room, and comfortable living space with television, creating a cosy and relaxing environment. Large windows maximise the loughside setting, offering beautiful, ever-changing views throughout the day.

A private pier provides direct access to the water's edge, enhancing the sense of seclusion and connection to the surrounding landscape. The Boathouse is ideally positioned for exploring Strangford Lough and the surrounding coastline, with easy access to the Mourne Coastal Route and the Ards Peninsula. It is an ideal choice for couples seeking a quiet and scenic coastal retreat.
