About

Friday 19 February 2027 |
Live at the Lighthouse, The Anchor Bar, Newcastle

They really don't make them like Roy Walker anymore.

One of the true gentlemen of comedy comes to the intimate surroundings of Live at the Lighthouse for a very special evening celebrating an extraordinary career spanning more than five decades.

Roy is old-school comedy at its very best: warm, clean, effortlessly funny and blessed with the kind of impeccable comic timing that simply can't be taught. From his early days working the clubs and sharing bills with some of the biggest names in entertainment, to becoming a household favourite as the legendary host of ITV's Catchphrase, Roy has entertained generations.

More recently, Roy has returned to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and toured alongside his comedian son Phil Walker, proving that great comedy, brilliant stories and perfect timing never go out of fashion.

Catch Yourself On! brings Roy back to Northern Ireland for an evening of stand-up, stories, memories and, inevitably, a few catchphrases from a remarkable life in showbusiness.

With just 140 people in the room, this is a rare opportunity to see a genuine comedy and television legend up close and personal at Live at the Lighthouse.

Say what you see... and catch Roy while you can.
