Using natural and responsibly sourced materials, these bookable workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn new skills while creating something truly special.

Guided by expert artisans, you can enjoy a wide range of creative experiences, from crafting copper jewellery and leather accessories to weaving colourful keepsakes and working with natural materials like clay, willow and straw. Each workshop blends creativity with traditional heritage skills, offering a meaningful connection to nature and craft.

- Living History Village

Travel back in time at the Living History Village in Warrenpoint Municipal Park, where a vibrant Viking settlement is brought to life in spectacular style. Experience a world of clans and gatherings through immersive scenes and lively demonstrations that capture the spirit of ancient times.

- Curious Minds

Spark curiosity in the Curious Minds area, located in Warrenpoint Municipal Park. This engaging space features interactive information stands hosted by a range of organisations, offering families the opportunity to learn, discover, and get involved in important causes.

Sensory Hub

Discover a peaceful retreat within the vibrant energy of Wake the Giant at our Sensory Hub, located in Warrenpoint Town Hall. Designed especially for children who benefit from a calm and nurturing environment, this welcoming space offers a gentle escape from the busy festival atmosphere, providing comfort, relaxation and support.

A programme of bookable Sensory Play Sessions (Saturday 1 August 2026) and Music Sensory Sessions (Sunday 2 August 2026) will offer engaging, child-focused experiences designed to stimulate the senses in a safe, inclusive and supportive setting. Advance booking is required for all sessions, please visit our Box Office for more details and to secure your place.

The Giant Funfair
