Accessible Facilities at Tyrella Beach
At Tyrella Beach, we want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable. Our spacious Changing Places facility includes a shower, height-adjustable changing bed, and height-adjustable sink, providing additional support for visitors with a range of access requirements. We also have a separate accessible toilet on site to help make your visit comfortable and enjoyable.
Tyrella Beach is part of the Inclusive Beach initiative, delivered in partnership with the Mae Murray Foundation. The programme enables people of all ages and abilities to access the beach, take part, have fun, and feel included.
Inclusive Beaches offer a free beach equipment loan scheme, including all-terrain wheelchairs and other mobility aids. Membership is free. Find out more visit the Mae Murray Foundation website.
