Built to Last: The History and Legacy of NI Water's Estate (Gary Presho)

This presentation will focus on the construction of the Silent Valley Dam and its historic buildings. Following the presentation, there will be a guided walk to view the location of Water Town and the Mourne Wall. This will provide a deeper understanding of the area's historical and engineering importance.

Important information:

Booking required
30 minute talk, followed by a 45 minute walk (weather permitting)
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and weatherproof clothing to suit outdoor conditions
All proceeds will be used for conservation in the Mournes
