"His energy & desire to communicate, to sing, is infectious. The easy, soulful melody and performance underlines the impact, with Reel's singing striking just the right note.

"Ben Reel stands at the threshold of true greatness as an artist"
Pat Cunnane, Radio Kerry

Over three decades, South Armagh's Ben Reel has built a rich body of work across genres, blending rock, folk, soul, and reggae. Critics have drawn comparisons to Dylan, The Band and John Hiatt, and even dubbed him "the Irish Springsteen."

He has released twelve albums, with his band and solo, and appeared on BBC and RTÉ, amongst others. He has supported and collaborated with artists such as Jools Holland, The Cranberries, Hal Ketchum and Nanci Griffith. In 2020 his album, The Nashville Calling' reached No. 1 on the Euro Americana Chart.

His latest album, Spirit's Not Broken, will be released worldwide on January 23, 2026
