About

Join us for our Fire Circle in the beautiful surroundings of Bluebell Lane Glamping Mullaghbawn at the foot of Slieve Gullion.

Experience the transformative power of community fire gatherings, where we come together to connect with each other and tap into the primal and ancient power of fire that is held in our DNA. Join us for an evening of warmth, storytelling, and shared knowledge around the fire. Discover the benefits of building community bonds, fostering a sense of belonging, and honouring the ancestral traditions that have guided us for centuries. Embrace the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and learn from each other in a space filled with the wisdom of our ancestors.

Each gathering is unique and is co created by those who attend.

What to Bring:

Wear Footwear suitable for uneven surfaces and wet/muddy grass.

Wrap up warm we have covered outdoor space so will be protected from the elements however it is still outdoors.

We sit on straw bales - for your own comfort you may wish to bring a cushion or a camp chair.

A water bottle and a Mug (we will share herbal teas and traditional warm drinks)

If there is anything you would like to share perhaps a song, a poem, a reflection, music, if you play an instrument please bring it with you.

An open mind & an open heart.

Out of respect for everyone please arrive on time as we have a walk from the fire to our fire space from the Carpark We will leave from the main carpark at our starting time.

Circle Guidelines:

At Changing Cycles we endeavour as much as possible to hold trauma informed and inclusive spaces. This is something that we can all play our part in.

In order to support people to feel comfortable we have created a few guidelines.

We ask that spaces are camera and phone free, a facilitator may take some photos but will ensure that faces aren’t taken.

We’re aware that not everyone is aware of how synthetic fragrances can affect those with allergies, sensitivities or those on a fertility journey. For this reason, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing synthetic perfume or aftershave.

Our events are alcohol and substance free.

Please Allow people to volunteer information rather than asking direct questions. Many people are uncomfortable with direct questions they can for some feel intrusive and people may wish to maintain privacy until they build trust/comfort with new people. Simple “getting to know you questions” aren’t always comfortable for people to answer for a wide range of reasons, a couple trying to conceive or experienced baby loss or miscarriage, someone recently bereaved or who has lost a job, or had to move house,, or experienced abuse in their family and as a result have no relationship with them we can’t know what is happening in peoples lives so when meeting people for the first time it is best to allow them to share what if anything they feel comfortable with.

Offering advice when someone shares, responses can be perceived as unsolicited advice and whilst the intention maybe coming from the right place again we can’t know anyone’s life journey. Perhaps asking would they like you to share something that has helped you is away to gain their consent

Thank you for supporting us in creating safe and inclusive spaces for all. Looking forward to gathering at the fire with you.
