John's tractor run 2026

About

Join Mourne Vintage Club for our annual Tractor & Truck Run, taking place on Saturday 1 August, held in loving memory of John Doole. This special community event is raising funds for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.
Registration opens at 3:00pm at the Whitewater Layby, with the run departing promptly at 4:00pm. The route will travel through the beautiful Mourne countryside before finishing at Ballyvea Hub, where participants and supporters can enjoy a BBQ and refreshments.
The event welcomes tractors and trucks of all ages and makes, from vintage classics to modern vehicles. Spectators are encouraged to come along, support the participants, and enjoy the fantastic display of vehicles.
Entry is £15 per vehicle, which includes a burger and drink for the driver. Additional passengers aged 14 and over are £5. There will also be a street collection and raffle, with great prizes to be won, giving everyone the opportunity to support this worthwhile cause.
This event celebrates the local farming and haulage community while remembering John Doole and raising vital funds for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, whose lifesaving service supports communities across the region.
We look forward to welcoming participants, families and visitors for an afternoon of community spirit, remembrance and fundraising in the heart of the Mournes.
