About

Newry Train Station is the only rail station in Mourne Gullion Strangford, It sits on the busy Belfast – Dublin line, making it an important stop for cross border travel between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The modern station building, opened in 2009, has two platforms linked by a footbridge with lifts, plus ticket facilities, toilets, seating, and vending machines. Platform access is controlled by staff and opens shortly before departures.
