About
Step into the heart of the Ring of Gullion and South Armagh for an unforgettable evening celebrating the area’s rich oral traditions of song and story at 'Sing for your Supper'.
Set within the handcrafted Roundhouse at Bluebell Lane, with its warm timber interior and intimate circular design. 'Sing for your Supper' offers the perfect setting where music, voices and shared meals flow naturally, echoing the community spirit at the heart of this age-old custom.
Guests will enjoy performances from acclaimed traditional singer Colleen Savage, accompanied by the musical talents of Pádraig Carragher, and even have the chance to learn a song themselves. True to the old saying, everyone will be invited to “sing for their supper,” reviving the tradition of earning a hearty meal with a song, a tune or a tale.
For their efforts, guests will be treated to a delightful gourmet meal; a rich butterbean and butternut squash stew, zesty cucumber relish, fragrant baked rice, and freshly baked mixed seed and oat bread, all perfectly paired with locally crafted Mac’s Armagh Cider from apples grown at Bluebell Lane.
All food is provided by Moreish Good Food and freshly prepared on site by the talented Eileen McKeown, ensuring every bite is as memorable as the music itself.
