Eats & Beats festival activities are located on grass surface which is of even/level terrain. Live music located at the ‘Homegrown Stage’ and ‘World Stage’ (opposite ends of Donard Park (0.1km approx.) walking distance between each stage.)

Changing Places Facility
The Changing Places facility is equipped with an electric roof hoist and an adjustable, adult-sized changing table, along with an access lift that provides a large floor space for ease of movement. It includes a toilet with grab rails, a sink, and a shower, ensuring comprehensive accessibility. The space is fitted with heating, as well as cold and warm running water, and features adjustable lighting to suit individual needs. An attendant is also on hand to clean the unit after each use, maintaining hygiene and comfort for all users.
Public Toilets
The following Public Toilet facilities are open for public use: Castle Park, Islands Park, and South Promenade are all open daily from 8am to 8pm and each includes an accessible toilet for public use. Additional locations include Donard Park and Central Promenade.
Medical and Security Services
Security personnel and Child Protection Officers will be stationed throughout the festival grounds to help and respond to any security concerns or emergencies.
Emergency medical staff and facilities are available on-site to manage any health-related incidents. Additionally, clear signage will guide you to these facilities.
Access to Performances
Sign Language and audio description are not offered currently.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Strobe Lighting
There will be no strobe lighting at the event.
A Calmer Start to Eats & Beats
From 10.30am – 2pm, enjoy a gentler festival experience, with no queues, no loud music, and fewer crowds, perfect for visitors with sensory or access needs.
Viewing Platform
A dedicated viewing platform will be available to enhance accessibility and ensure that visitors can comfortably enjoy the vibrant programme of live music and entertainment. The platform will provide an elevated, unobstructed view of the main stage, allowing visitors with mobility requirements and their companions to fully experience performances throughout the weekend. Stewards will be on hand to assist, and the area will be managed to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Live Music
Please be aware that noise levels at the event may be elevated due to the nature of live music performances. We recommend individuals with sensory sensitivities take necessary precautions, such as using ear protection, to ensure a comfortable experience.
