Learn how to use a Sewing Machine

10 - 14 Central Promenade, Newcastle, County Down, BT33 0AA
Sewing Machine Basics

About

A workshop specifically made for those who are completely new to sewing, or who would like a refresher course on modern machines. You will learn how to thread a machine, wind the bobbin, and sew basic stitches. We will talk about stitch width, length, and tension. By the end of the workshop, you will learn how to sew a cushion cover. Participants should bring along a sewing machine (in good working order) with a spare needle. If you don't have a sewing machine, enquire at the time of booking, and one may be available to use.
