Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2026 at Newry & Mourne Museum! ☘️
- Looking for a fun-filled family day out? Join us on Tuesday 17 March for a packed schedule of activities:
- Jumping Clay Workshops: Create your own St. Patrick’s Day model. (11am and at 2pm)
- Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos: Visit Anmarie from Making Faces to get into the festive spirit. (11am – 3pm)
From 11.30am - 12.30 there will be a bilingual tour of our new exhibition, “Categorically Celtic” with our curator, Shân Anena.
Sensory Play with Mini Explorers: A wonderful tactile experience featuring themed sensory trays, scented dough, and a dedicated baby area. Expert staff will be on hand to share play tips for home! (12pm – 4pm)
Important: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential
While you're here, explore our galleries (Open 10am – 4:30pm) and visit our latest exhibition, “Making Waves: Newry's rise as a global trade centre.” Free audio guides are available in multiple languages, with a special version just for kids.
