About

Born in Banbridge, F.E. McWilliam (1909–1992) grew to become one of Ireland's most celebrated artists, with his work now held in major international collections including the Tate and Museum of Modern Art.

This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to view a selection of his works from the collection of the F.E. McWilliam Gallery & Studio, Banbridge.

Join us to explore a local artist whose international career remained deeply rooted in the landscapes and influence of his County Down childhood.

The exhibition opens at Down County Museum on Thursday 2nd July and is open for free, Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00–16.30.
