About

Discover Celtic Knotwork: Watercolour Workshop (ages 16+)

Celebrate European Heritage Open Days 2026 at Newry and Mourne Museum with inspiring events for all ages, bringing the theme Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine to life.

Inspired by the Museum's latest exhibition, Categorically Celtic – Traditional Design in Irish Art, Politics and Popular Culture, the programme invites visitors to discover the lasting impact of Celtic art on Irish life.

Get creative with Celtic knotwork in a vibrant, hands-on watercolour workshop led by award-winning artist and tutor Orla Barry, and leave with your own unique artwork to take home.

Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your place.
