Objects and Innovations – a new exhibition of selected contemporary craft works
curated from the Collection of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to celebrate. August Craft Month at Down Arts Centre. Audiences are invited to experience key pieces from the Collection, by many of the region's leading designer-makers. Revealing some of the Arts Council's most recent craft acquisitions, this showcase will shine a light on emerging to established careers and feature a range of disciplines including ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles and sculpture.

Road Directions

Directions from Town: Follow the A7 from Belfast or the A25 from Clough into Downpatrick town centre, drive straight to the T junction at the end of Market Street and turn left. Down Arts Centre is a large red brick building with a clock tower on the right hand side, on the corner of Irish and Scotch Street. There are several paid and display car parks in the near vicinity and some on-street parking nearby
